My Favorite Shops for Home Decor

Nowadays, there are a ton of companies that sell home décor, and, accounting for all of the online stores out there, it’s pretty easy to get overwhelmed when deciding where to buy. 

I’m a millennial, so I’m REALLY comfortable with shopping online for everything, including decorative accents for the home, but I get it – sometimes options need to be streamlined in order to take the plunge and purchase.  While I love sourcing home décor from anywhere and everywhere (seriously) and would go to the ends of the earth to find something awesome, I understand that not everyone feels the same way.  Sometimes we just want something in our lives to be easy, right?

As you well know, not all home décor stores are created equal.  Believe me, I’ve looked (and bought) from places with no business selling home wares.  Over the years, I’ve learned – the hard way – to refine my purchases to companies that offer quality items.  Now, don’t get me wrong:  quality can be found wherever, if you look hard enough.  Again though, while I personally love the thrill of the hunt, I understand that not everyone has the time or inclination to do so.

These shops offer a variety of home goods to elevate your space from the ordinary to elevated. My last piece of advice: regardless of where you shop for decor and home furnishings, make sure you don’t buy everything from just one company. Purchasing items from different sources helps ensure a collected, eclectic look for your home, instead of having it appear as if it’s coming straight out of any one store’s catalogue or lookbook.
